Woof!
Woof! is a Children’s ITV television series produced by Central Independent Television about the adventures of a boy who turns into a dog. It was based on the book by Allan Ahlberg, directed by David Cobham and written by Andrew Norriss with Richard Fegen.
“Between 1989 and 1995, Richard Fegen and I wrote six series based on characters in a lovely book by Allan Ahlberg about a boy who turns into a dog.Everything about this series was nice. It was produced and directed by nice people (Lewis Rudd and David Cobham) and Edward Fidoe and Sarah Smart were two of the nicest child actors.
And it still astonishes me how easy it was to write. The ideas poured out and I loved the stories. I liked them so much I asked if I could put them in a book, and that’s what started the book writing… “ Andrew Norriss
